The First One, of many? (WARNING, may include extreme parenthesis abuse)

Hello everyone (who everyone is I don't know, 'tis a question I shall most likely struggle with through the life of this thing) (and yes, I did use "'tis", get used to it), as I'm off to university (Leeds, to do French) soon and thought you people (who ever you are) would enjoy to hear about how stuff is going on (aren't I nice). I have done one of these things before and, whilst it was hilariously funny, it had a very short life due to my lack of caring about regular updates etc. I promise I'll try and do this regularly, maybe once a week or so, as I think this would be a good way to keep everyone up to date with how I'm doing and enable you to pray for me. Also it lets me keep track of what's going on back home too (isn't the internet a wonderful thing!) so that's handy. Anyhoo, that's all for now I think. (warned you about the brackets, see)
